Stop the spread of neobiota

Information water sports and fishing

Some invasive animals and plants can cause major ecological and economic problems. Once introduced, they can usually no longer be contained. For this reason, the further spread of invasive species must be prevented at all costs.

Stop the spread of neobiota

Instructions boat cleaning

Neobiota and their larvae and eggs often adhere unnoticed to boats, water sports equipment or fishing gear. They are barely visible to the naked eye, and many species survive even for long periods in dry conditions. If you move to another body of water with a boat, water sports equipment, fishing equipment or similar, these must be cleaned and thoroughly dried beforehand.
