Professional experience
I have completed my Bachelor in Geosciences in 2018 at the University of Basel. My Major was Biogeography and applied Ecology, and my Minor was Geography. My Bachelor Thesis was about the lengthwise zonation of spring brooks in the Swiss Midland.
In Summer 2017, I did a 2 months internship at the department for Environment of the canton Jura. I worked mostly on the field. My job consisted of mapping and evaluating water springs.
At the end of 2018, I worked 2 months as a scientific assistant at MGU/MSE to support Karen Bussmann. I identified macroinvertebrates under the microscope.
Personal information
Nature has always fascinated me. Quite early, I felt the threat endangering it and the urgency to protect it. That is the reason why I chose to study geosciences. Furthermore, I am part of the Greenpeace regional group of the canton of Jura.
My other passion in life is music. I am active in different bands and since 2019 I play as a drummer in a rock/punk band.
My other hobbies are cooking, traveling, going to concerts, discovering new music and cycling.
